Runtime's DiskExplorer is an elegant disk utility that facilitates the user to navigate through the hard drive of the computer effectively and perform many complex tasks. With the help of this application, the user can navigate by accessing the partition table directly, or through FAT or root directory, boot record or even jumping to a certain sector. It can even switch between several views, such as hex, directory, text, partition table, FAT and boot record view.

DiskExploer also provides the user with a possibility to search the drive for text, partition tables, boot records, and subdirectories as well. The user can investigate the boot records of the volume by analyzing the volume information, and even edit the drive by using the direct read/write mode, however it is not recommended.

There are many other handy features available, such as the virtual write mode, option of viewing and recovering even deleted files, creating a virtual volume when the boot record is corrupted or lost.

So overall, this is a great way to conduct personal data recovery by making use of all the useful features. It is designed only for the FAT file systems.
